How the main packaging processes fit together

What is the difference between machine capability and proven application suitability?

Machine capability describes what a mechanism is designed to do; proven application suitability means that the proposed configuration has been checked with the actual product, pack components, operating conditions and acceptance criteria. The second is the more reliable basis for ordering.
