Contract Packing Production Machinery

In contract packing, flexibility is your biggest selling point—and the right machinery makes it possible. Whether you’re handling short-run seasonal promotions, bulk re-packing, or long-term production contracts, you need equipment that can adapt quickly to new products, packaging styles, and volumes. Our filling, capping, and labelling solutions are designed for fast changeovers, wide product compatibility, and reliable performance, so you can deliver for every client without missing a deadline.

Filling Machines

Contract packers often deal with many different products and container types.

  • Peristaltic Pump Fillers – Perfect for liquids that require hygiene and accuracy, with quick-change tubing to switch between products fast.

  • Piston Fillers – Handle viscous creams, gels, sauces, or thicker liquids with precision.

  • Auger Fillers – Best for dry powders and granules, from supplements to spices.

Capping Machines

Capping flexibility is key when dealing with various closure types and sizes.

  • Automatic Spindle Cappers – Excellent all-rounders that work with a wide range of screw caps, including plastic, metal, and flip-tops.

  • Automatic Chuck Cappers – Provide precision torque for high-value or sensitive products.

  • Press-On or Snap Cap Systems – Ideal for tubs, pails, and containers without screw closures.

Labelling Machines

Clear, accurate, and compliant labelling is a non-negotiable in contract packing.

  • Wrap-Around Labellers – For bottles, jars, and cylindrical containers.

  • Front-and-Back Labellers – For square, rectangular, or flat-sided containers.

  • Print-and-Apply Systems – Integrate variable data printing for batch codes, best-before dates, and barcodes.

Why This Combination Works

A setup that includes quick-change fillers, versatile cappers, and multi-format labellers ensures contract packers can:

  • Switch between products and packaging types with minimal downtime

  • Meet client-specific packaging requirements

  • Deliver consistent, professional results on every job

Contract-packing machinery questions

How should machinery be specified for a changing contract-packing workload?

Direct answer: Build a controlled format matrix covering current committed work, credible future ranges, product hazards, pack components, cleaning, batch sizes, changeover targets and acceptance checks. Do not select a machine from the broadest possible range alone; prioritise the formats that must run reliably and identify which future tasks require trials or options.

What belongs in a format matrix?

List product, dose or pack range, container or film, closure, label, code, batch size, target output, cleaning and the source/status of samples. Mark the smallest, largest and most difficult formats and show which requirements are firm, optional or unconfirmed.

How should changeover be evaluated?

Record shutdown, product recovery, cleaning, parts change, recipe selection, first-off checks and release. A short mechanical adjustment is not the full commercial changeover if cleaning, component verification and quality approval dominate elapsed time.

How can client specifications be controlled?

Use revision-controlled pack and process information, retain sample identity and record the settings and acceptance evidence for each client format. Define who approves any deviation before the line is released.
